Monika Smith

Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Monika began modeling internationally in high school until she realized she likes food and smiling. Improvising since she was a teenager, she has toured with The Second City, and has been on house teams at UCB, The Second City and Nerdist. Monika has toured internationally doing improv and sketch, most recently in China where she directed shows and performed her solo improv show. You can catch her weekly show at UCB, The Teacher's Lounge, and at a number of indie comedy theatres in LA where she performs the only one woman improv show in Los Angeles. Recurring on Blunt Talk, was a series regular on Who Gets The Last Laugh?, and can be seen on Newsreaders, Newsroom, The Joe Schmo Show, Two And a Half Men, Nick Swardson's Pretend Time, Disaster Date Series Regular, Players, and in sketches on The Tonight Show, Conan, and Arsenio. Monika has written for shows on TBS, MTV, Funny Or Die, and wrote and starred in the Yahoo series Holly On Top. Monica Gaga

Monica Gaga is a British-born black African queer host, improviser, facilitator, maker and performer. She has been performing and hosting for 11 years, improvising for 24 years and facilitating professionally for 16 years. The Comedy Store Players regular is the producer of HELL YEAH!, the femxle-centred queer improv collective. She is a cast member of Do The Right Scene, named ‘theatre that thinks’ by Timeout; Broadway Baby five-star reviewed show Yes Queens and feminist duo Derek's Mojo. Trained at East 15 Acting School, Monica has worked professionally across England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Canada and beyond. Monica is currently based in London, UK. Jim Woods

Carla Cackowski

Carla Cackowski is an improviser, writer, podcaster, and nap-lover. She toured all over Europe, Alaska, and the Caribbean performing comedy with The Second City. She’s a member of SAG-AFTRA and has done voiceover work on shows for ABC Family, TBS, and Disney. She wrote and performed five solo shows that were produced in Los Angeles and her comedic monologues were published in anthologies by APPLAUSE BOOKS. Carla hosts Improv Yak, a shop-talk podcast about improv comedy. When they’re not touring their two person improv show Orange Tuxedo, she and her husband Craig co-host a podcast called Craig’s List. Most recently, Carla has written for sketch shows on PBS Kids and Dreamworks TV. She taught improvisation and directed sketch shows at The Second City Hollywood for eight years before moving to Portland to become the Co-Artistic Director at Curious Comedy Theater for a year. Sarah Claspell

Sarah is an actor/comedian/writer living in Los Angeles. She has been featured on tv shows such as Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and written for Drunk History, Gizmodo, and many live shows at the UCB Theatre. She performs regularly with improv team Cardinal Redbird, the sell-out variety show Asian AF, and various shows doing improv, sketch, and characters. She has performed at the San Francisco Sketchfest, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and SoHo Rep Theater in New York. Additionally, she has trained with members of the Royal Shakespeare Company in London. Will has been teaching long-form improv since 2004 at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, at both its New York and Los Angeles branches. He's published a best-selling book on improv called How to Be The Greatest Improviser on Earth. He's also a working comedic actor and has appeared on many terrific television programs (Brooklyn 99, Search Party, Broad City, Inside Amy Schumer). Craig Cackowski

Craig Cackowski is an actor, improvisor and teacher based in Los Angeles. He has been involved with the iO and iO West theaters since 1992, and is the three-time winner of the Del Close Award as Teacher of the Year at iO West. He has played numerous improv festivals around the country with his long-running three-man troupe Dasariski (with Bob Dassie and Rich Talarico) and his duo Orange Tuxedo (with his wife Carla!). While in Chicago, he appeared in and co-wrote 5 revues for The Second City, and helped create such improv forms as JTS Brown and Close Quarters. As an actor, he has been seen in recurring roles on such shows as Community (as “Officer Cackowski”), Bajillion Dollar Properties (as “Todd the janitor”), Veep (as “Cliff”) and as part of the ensemble cast of Drunk History. Other film and TV credits include Son Of Zorn, Girlboss, Shrink, Comedy Bang Bang, Newsreaders, Welcome To The Family, The Mindy Project, How I Met Your Mother, Arrested Development, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Year Of The Dog, 21 And Over, and The Kings Of Summer.
