Smorgasbord

Welcome to Smörgåsbord, an improv show dedicated to the most messed up improv ideas you can think of. Inspired by the DCM (the UCB improv festival) “bit shows” we invite you to reach deep into the recesses of your subconscious, and invent and perform an improv format that should only exist for 5-10 minutes before it disappears back to the hell dimension from whence it came.

Here are some bit shows that have existed:

• La RondeNiro – A La Ronde where all the characters are Robert De Niro
• Frat Prov – A large group game where everyone plays a frat bro
• Tell me your dark secrets for a slice of pizza
• 10 minute sound and movement
• 10 minute solo sound and movement
• Country Music favorites (nobody can sing)
• 6 women playing 3 men in trenchcoats
• Toploading – 9 minutes of opening, 1 scene
